Our story.
While at Google leading Google Developer Groups, Adriana felt there was something missing. As one of the largest tech companies in the world, Google held profound influence on the behavior and psychology of its users, and on society at large. Yet it had no team or process to consider this impact before launching new initiatives.
Having participated in earth-based women circles for years, Adriana learned the power of intention, and was of the mind that individual intentions should serve the larger whole.
She witnessed in her own life how much more easily ideas came into form when group intention was aligned and embodied.
Feeling that intentionality was missing from Google's culture, Adriana started the Intentional Tech employee group, which brought together intentional Googlers from across teams and offices to discuss ways to weave intentionality into how products were built.
Embodied intentionality became the cornerstone of a wellness curriculum Adriana later designed for a Web3 accelerator.
Drawing from her work supporting technical communities and facilitating personal development workshops, Adriana bridged the needs of technical founders with somatic tools to expand awareness, focus attention, navigate stress, and build confidence. Together in a group container, these founders experienced how connecting to their body, their intention, and each other helped them become better founders. Many carried forward what they learned to their new startups to create a culture of awareness and intentionality.
The positive feedback and impact of this series, which still continues after 6 cohorts, inspired Adriana to make this experience available to community leaders beyond the accelerator. With the support of the Ocelot community treasury, Bloomtree was born.
Founders who Flourish is now offered to accelerators globally, and Team Coherence is offered to remote teams.
Bloomtree is also available for consultation on design for wellness events, retreats, and conferences.
